Application fees

The application fee for candidates belonging to the OC category is Rs. 2000/-
for BC category is Rs. 1500/-
and for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/VH/HI/OH/Transgender categories is Rs. 1000/-
The payment can be made through online modes such as Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.

Starting Date for Apply Online: December 30, 2022
Last date for Submission of Online Application without Late Fee: On or before January 25, 2023
With late fee of Rs. 1500/- + Registration Fee: On or before January 30, 2023
With late fee of Rs. 2000/- + Registration Fee: On or before February 5, 2023
With late fee of Rs. 3000/- + Registration Fee: On or before February 10, 2023
Date for Edit Option: February 12 & 13, 2023 Download of Hall Tickets: During the last week of February 2023
Date of Examination: March 13 to 15, 2023

The TS-SET examination does not have an upper age limit for applicants. This means that individuals of any age can apply to take the exam, as long as they meet the other eligibility criteria. However, it is important to note that the exam is typically taken by individuals who have completed or are pursuing their postgraduate degree and are interested in pursuing a career in teaching or research.

Applicants are required to hold a Master’s degree, such as M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA, and M.Tech (CSE & IT only).
