Important Note:

• On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 74th birthday, the Odisha government has announced a major scheme for women.
• The amount of Rs. 5000/- + Rs. 5000/- will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of women beneficiaries twice a year.
• The Odisha government has set a budget of Rs 55,825 crore for this scheme from 2025-25 to 2028-29.
• Women from financially well-off families, government employees, and women filing income tax returns will be deprived. Also, women who are receiving monthly benefits of Rs. 1500/- or more under any other government scheme will also not be eligible for this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must be a resident of Odisha.
• The applicant must be covered under National Food Security Act (NFSA) / State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). Any woman from a family without NFSA or SFSS card can apply under Subhadra if her family income does not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh (Rupees two lakh and fifty thousand only).
• To be eligible under the scheme, the age of the applicant should be 21 years or more and less than 60 years as on the eligibility date. The date of birth recorded in the Aadhaar card will be considered as the last date for calculating her age.
