The Directorate General of the Border Security Force (BSF) has released a notification for the recruitment of vacancies for the post of Constable (Tradesman). Application fees
- The application fee for the UR (Unreserved), EWS (Economically Weaker Section), and OBC (Other Backward Class) categories is Rs. 100/-. However, there is no application fee for candidates belonging to the SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), women, BSF serving personnel, and ex-servicemen categories.
- The payment can be made through net banking, credit card, or debit card.
Important Dates
The important dates for the recruitment process are as follows:
- Starting date for online application: 26th February 2023
- Last date for online application: 27th March 2023
- Date of examination: 3rd week of May 2023
Age Limit
The age limit for the recruitment is as follows:
- Minimum age limit: 18 years
- Maximum age limit: 25 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Qualifications
Candidates should have completed Matriculation (10th standard) for this recruitment. The physical standards for male candidates are as follows:
- Height: 165 cm
- Chest: 75-80 cm
For female candidates, the physical standards are as follows:
- Height: 155 cm
- Chest: Not applicable
